Correction email

Send correction requests to correction@rajasthan.villagecodes.in. Use a subject such as `Correction request: Village name - District`.

Required details

Include enough information to identify and verify the record.

  • Exact page URL
  • Village name and Census village code, if shown
  • Tehsil/Tahsil and district
  • Field that appears wrong
  • Current displayed value
  • Proposed value
  • Link or citation to a reliable official or public source

Review process

We aim to acknowledge a correction request within 7 working days and complete an initial review within 30 days. A code, boundary or historical-data issue may need more time or may be referred back to the source authority.

Approved display corrections are documented and applied through the generator so that later builds remain consistent.

Source value and display error

A display or processing error may be corrected when the source supports the change. A source value is not silently rewritten merely because a different current value exists. Historical data and current administrative information may both be correct for different dates.

Requests we cannot process

Do not use this email to request certificates, land mutations, caste or domicile records, changes to government databases, emergency help or removal of a public village record. Contact the competent authority for those matters.

Personal data in a correction email

Send only the minimum information needed. Do not attach Aadhaar, bank, medical or other sensitive documents. Privacy requests about personal data in correspondence should be sent to the privacy email.
